"Celebrating Ability!" a Disability
Awareness and Outreach
Mission - A "Break the Barriers" group of
Fresno, CA will join JARON staff and Joni &
Friends Ministries representatives to
provide conference events and training
workshops for church, civic and educational
leaders. Folks who work in ministries and
occupations working with those affected by
disability
are welcome to apply. Travel assistants are
also needed for some of team members.

Opportunity
Youth Outreach - The JARON team will be
partnering with Eksderde Ministries and
One-Way Ministries.
The team will serve in a variety of
ministries in various locations. In remote
Giyani the team will have daily village
outreach to the Shanghan tribe and nightly
youth rally's in the city soccer stadium
with bands and special speakers. Following a
safari through Kruger National Game Reserve
they will be involved in beach outreach to
youth in the Durban area. The team will then
travel to Johannesburg and Pretoria where
they will be involved in city street
outreach and children's/youth ministry in
surrounding refugee camps. |
