Ministry: Equipping of Pastors and Church Leaders

Serving Location: Philippines, Asia and Middle East

About Lito

Sarlito, also known as Pastor Lito, trains pastors and church leaders in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. He travels to teach and train and has expanded his work into more of the unreached regions of Asia and has established a good mentoring situation among Pastors and Elders of churches in Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, and Malaysia, where he conducts training and equipping among the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) churches all year round. He is joined by adjunct teachers and trainers who voluntarily work with JARON Ministries International, Philippines.

JMI is in partnership with other organizations with the same philosophy of ministry. Pastor Lito
continues local training throughout the Philippines in partnership with Walk Thru the Bible and Asian Access as one of their volunteer teachers/trainers. He is also involved in church planting with Jireh-Jethro Foundation which reaches the urban poor in Metro Manila.

In 2021, Pastor Lito finished his Doctoral Studies (Doctor of Ministry) at the International Graduate School of Leadership in Quezon City, Philippines.

The JMI-Philippine team’s ambitious goals include expanding partnerships with other organizations, establishing more Prayer Partners, gathering more sponsors, recruiting more teachers, maintaining these four countries with their partnership, and forming a short-term mission team that can be exposed to missions throughout Asia.

Pastor Lito attends Southern Light Community Church in Paranaque as one of the Elders together with his wife Tess and their children Carlo, Johanna, and James.

Prayers & Praise

1. Praising God for the impact of JMI-Philippines on the pastors and church leaders of these churches both in the Philippines and abroad. We saw how a church in HK became a movement establishing 6 more growing churches across HK and in the Philippines. We have the same testimony from Kuala Lumpur.
2. Praise God for more teaching opportunities that were opened in Metro Manila, Mindoro, Cavite, Batangas, Tarlac, and in KL, HK, Singapore, and UAE.
3. Praise God for partners.
4. Please pray for effectiveness in teaching and training as well as safety and provision during these teaching trips. Please see Ministry schedule.
5. Please pray for good health for The Sampans.
