About Stephen & Kimala

Chaplains Stephen and Kimala reside in Northern California, having raised two boys in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They are dedicated to their community, fostering encouragement and God’s Word where needed. Former high school teachers, Stephen and Kimala have a long history of mentoring high school students through mission trips and local ministries. Kimala runs Splashed in the Spirit, a women’s ministry that gathers women for fellowship, retreats and conferences. Together they have gone on short term missions abroad serving alongside organizations in Mexico, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Nepal. They have had many opportunities to do physical labor, run sports camps, teach in classrooms, cook and share meals, praise and worship revivals, speak into the lives of healing children, inspire and assist with professional and career development of new business endeavors, and give testimonies to God’s miracles in their lives and the lives of others.

Kimala has led staff trainings, workshops, and conferences in these foreign lands and has taught from her bible studies that she has had translated into Swahili and Nepali, printing copies to share. Kimala continues to run her women’s ministry and accepts opportunities to speak for other churches and women’s organizations.

Stephen is currently serving with CEF, Child Evangelism Fellowship, bringing the Good News Club to local children and abroad. 

Prayers & Praise

The Lord has pressed upon their hearts a passion for working with girls and women who have been rescued from hardships and sex trafficking. Doors have been opening for opportunities with local law enforcement and abroad to spread the Gospel and bring the hope of Christ to those who thirst for Truth.
