About Operation Turbo Kitchen

Michael and Emily Musale established a school for children in Turbo, Kenya who otherwise would not get an education. They are currently teaching 165 students. Each day, the staff cooks meals for the children and staff. Many of the children have no food at home, so this school meal is the only food they are given each day.

The cook staff work in a room with a rough dirt floor and a wood fire in one corner. The photos you see (more below) are of the kitchen and children taken in 2023. During JARON Missionary, Richard Wahl’s, time at Turbo, he was privileged to interact with the staff and children and join them for their meals.

It is the heart’s desire of JARON Ministries International to build a complete kitchen with running water, electricity and equipment.
