Giving FAQs

“Can I give directly to JARON’s general fund?”

Yes. The JARON General Fund provides services that undergird our missionaries’ personal and ministry needs. Only about 50 percent of the annual budget is covered by the contributions given to our missionaries. Therefore, we depend on the Lord to provide from other sources the remainder of our operating expenses. To designate your donation for this purpose, indicate “General Fund” when you give your gift.

“How much of my gift to a missionary actually goes to the missionary?”

JARON provides a vast array of services to our missionaries, including—but not limited to—training, field placement, field visits, pastoral care, contacts with churches, and robust administrative support. Eleven percent of your missionary support gift helps enable the missionary to receive these important support services. The remaining 89% goes directly towards funding the ongoing costs of the ministry of the missionary you are supporting.

“Are my gifts tax-deductible?”

Donations for missionaries, ministries, special projects, and the General Fund are tax-deductible. According to IRS guidelines, such gifts remain under the jurisdiction and control of JARON Ministries International.

“How do I give by check?”

Make your check payable to JARON Ministries and use the memo line of the check to state the name of the missionary or project/partner you wish to support.

You can mail the contribution to:

4710 N. Maple Ave.
